Only one more week left of marathon training! It’s hard to believe how fast the time has gone. I’m feeling ready for Richmond but slightly concerned for the very cold weather predicted. It’s still better than rain, which we experienced last year.
Monday – P90X YogaX
Tuesday – REST (plan called for 3 miles at 10:18 pace)
I had to go to the ER for stitches in my lip. No time for a run.
Wednesday – REST
Thursday – 5.5 miles at 8:18 (plan called for race pace 8:32 min/mile)
After dealing with the injury this week, it felt really great to get out for a run – so therapeutic!
Friday – REST
Saturday – 8.5 miles at 8:38 pace (plan called for 8:32 min/mile)
I wore my Nike Thermal running hoodie which has a cool cut out in the sleeve but that also makes it a little tricky to stop and start my Garmin. I missed about half a mile so used Mike’s stats. We saw the set-up for the Veteran’s Day Concert for Valor on the National Mall.
